KMC collections consist of print and electronic formats. There are more than 30,000 volumes of collections in printed format. User may search the printed materials from Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). The collections cover various of subjects been offered at UNITAR such as Business, Management, Information Technology, Hospitality, Tourism Management, Education, English Language, Literature and many more. The electronic collections include e-books and e-journals. Users may retrieve the electronic materials through search engine available from reliable online databases.
This collection contains items that can be loaned out from the KMC. The Open Collection consists of general books in various subject areas.
Users may access the electronic resources such as e-book and e-journals at http://kmc.unitar.my from anywhere at anytime. To log in to these services, users will have to use their UNIEC id and password.
KMC provides tablets with access to e-book titles for reference ONLY. Tablets cannot be taken out from the KMC. Most of the e-book titles are main text from a various subjects from each faculty and schools.
Knowledge Management Centre provides access to online journals from various publishers/ databases. Users may access the online databases subscribed at http://kmc.unitar.my
iii. Exam papers
The past years exam papers starting from 2006 onwards are available in PDF format. User may access previous exam papers via CMS, PGMS, MAF and PMAF systems.
This collection refers to reference books such Encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks, pictorial biographies, directories and etc.
Reserve Collection is also known as Red Spot collection, meant for highly demand items e.g. main textbook. This collection is located at the Red Spot room, KMC Wing A. Users may borrow the collection within a short term loan period, which is for 24 hours.
This collection includes audio, video (VCD, DVD and CD), VHs.
This collection refers to journals, magazines, bulletins and others periodical materials. These are non-circulating items. .

This collection can be identified by ‘ta’ (Teaching Aids) acronym, which stated on the Call Number label. This collection is available at Circulation Counter.
Dissertations & Theses Collection
A research publication or 'dissertation' completed for a master or doctoral degree (PhD). KMC keeps print theses in its closed collection.
Project Report & Industrial Training Collection
A publication completed for a final year student, especially for Bachelor programs. KMC keeps project report and industrial training report in its closed collection.
Serials back-issues which have been bound; usually a number of issues of a periodical comprising a volume and bound. This collection can be found at the Red Spot room and commonly in blue colour hard cover. Users may get help from staff on duty to get access to this collection.
